THE BASH!
When RPM Magazine Editor Chris Biro
talked about holding a race to celebrate
ten years of the magazine, I thought
what a great idea. The suggested venue
was the Emerald Coast’s Supercooler Dragway in Holt
Florida. Hmm, never really heard of it but I had met owner
Richard Stephens at the P.R.I. show, he seemed a nice
guy and by all accounts had sunk a bunch of money into
improvements since he and his wife Kelly took over in
2008. As with all events of this magnitude they come
real quick and before you are really ready for them. Summer
hit with a vengeance just before we left and we left
a hot sticky Ontario for an even hotter Emerald Coast of
Florida. I have to admit I struggled a bunch with the heat
but we all were determined to make the event one never
to be forgotten....
